MyPoints-Did I Miss The Memo?

I've been on the MyPoints website for several years. Until sometime recently, they would send you about two or three emails a day, and you got 5 points for clicking on them and reading them.  Now they send two a day, but they are in a different format, and there is rarely a point offer for reading them. Looks like another "Points" website has bit the dust.  I was wondering if they sent out a notice of this change. If I was busy and didn't get to the emails for awhile, they would expire after two or three weeks, so I would just delete them. I was wondering if they sent an email telling about the change and it was one that I deleted.

I've been saying this for a while now. I used to earn gift cards quickly, but it has been a while.

I only seem to get about one 5 point email every day or two. The rest of them are points for offers, so point accumulation is even slower than it was. No memo was sent that I know about.
They tend to do that off and on. They did that before the holiday. Than you start alot of those 5 pointers. Than they slow down again. The past couple of days I have started getting the five pointers again.

I've been doing ok on Mypoints. Sometimes even though the email doesn't say it if you still go to the site you'll get points. I also earn points on there through bzz agent and shopping and the surveys

I am still getting 5+ emails a day from them and also the survey emails. I haven't noticed any change.

I don't think an email memo was sent out - but I vaguely remember reading something on the site about the "new" "bonus" emails - where you could get up to 10 points for clicking them on - then, suddenly, I started getting those ones you are describing after a week or two of getting the 10 point emails. I click them on, but when I go to MyPoints I don't see any credit for doing so.

I recently (3 days ago) finally got enough for a 25 dollar amazon gift card and decided to cash it out rather than continue aiming higher. Two years ago I cashed out a 25 buck Outback one - it's taken two years of emails and an occasional survey and stuff they offer on the site to get to this one. I do my shopping through Memolink and Swagbucks.

I never noticed a pattern but I get three types of emails each day - with 5 points, without 5 points and surveys. Now that you mention it the ones without 5 points are more than those with 5 points.
